SongStory is a creative arts project that explores our strong emotional connection to the special songs in our lives.
We bring communities and organisations together by diving into the universal language of song, the power of personal storytelling and the magic of live performance.
It’s fun, inspiring, interactive and wonderfully nostalgic.
Do you have a song which takes you back to a special time, place, person, feeling or event?
Do you have a memory or story to share around that song?
If the answer is yes then you have a ‘SongStory’.
Please join us at one of our SongChat sessions so we can enjoy your story and you can connect with others’ as they tell theirs.
No musical skills required, just a love of song and a good story.

‘Love Me Tender’
When Sue was just sixteen she plucked up the courage to pick up the microphone at the local club and sing this hit song to her boyfriend.
She hoped it might impress him. It seemed to do the trick as they are still together to this day.
The Icing on the cake
We create a unique live performance to showcase the ‘SongStories’ of your community or organisation featuring some of our most well-loved artists.
Everyone’s welcome, with project participants being our special guests.
After the show
An opportunity to chat with artists and others attending the show as we connect, have a cuppa and enjoy something delicious together.
